  1. Hero System Kobold Very good! I'll be using these babies in my own Fantasy Hero Ccampaign. Only one real complaint. If you have read "Tucker's Kobolds" (or the AD&D Monster Manual for that fact), then you know that Kobolds have average human intelligence. That would put them at 10 instead of 8. The tail, not being a extra limb, is a good suggestion also. By the way, I ran a party of 5th, 6th and 7th level characters up against twenty Kobolds once. The Kobolds were straight out of the book with random treasure. The PC's lost. Over half of them were killed. Thank you Tucker!! You proved that weak stats don't mean near instant death.
  2. Just got home from GenCon (I live in Indianapolis) with the new Fantasy Hero book. WOW! A lot of new material.....I have the 2nd Ed to compare it to. IMHO it's well worth the wait, and the money. There doesn't seem to be much going on at GenCon where Hero is concerned. But, it is a WoTC Con afterall.
  3. Re: Predictability... or not I like this one the best. Leaves everything intact and makes the players think.
  4. I like most of the suggestions. I would like to see a two-handed battle sword art form/HTH style. The kind depicted in fourteenth and fifteenth century swordsmanship training manuals, not the typical cleave and step forward, cleave and step forward..... The manuevers depicted in those old manuals showed the two hander being used as almost anything BUT a cleaver like it's typically used in most RPG sessions.
