  1. Ok, here is another question. This obviously comes under a "Limited Power" limitation, but the question is how much, since it is potentially very powerful. Character is able to create a "fracture" of space-time in two ways. One way is to form a knife-like extension parallel to his palm (extending past fingers), the other is to create a wider shield (force wall), also parallel to the palm that he can use to block incoming attacks. The blade is defined as follows: "Shearing Plane" 2d6 Energy Blast ADV: AVLD (force fields) +1 1/2 ADV: Does Body +1 ADV: Costs END to activate +1/4 = 37 AP LIM: No Range -1/2 LIM: Does no knockback -1/4 LIM: Increased END (x2) -1/2 Obviously, with the blade out he cannot use the hand for grabbing or holding. If both the shield and blade are out (one in each hand), he obviously cannot grapple or hold anything. Any hint on a proper limitation for this restriction would be appreciated.
  2. Greetings everyone. I'm an old returner to the system (having played in the 3rd edition a while back). I have a question regarding a limitation to major transformation. The effect of the player's power is the target is frozen in time -- the transform is "healed" if the target takes any damage (which breaks the effect "bubble"). The player didn't want the freeze to be immensely long, and since she had to stuff the 5d6 transform into a small number of points, I worked backward on the time chart for recovery. Thus, I applied a -1 3/4 limitation to major transform in order to speed up the recovery by 7 levels -- the target gets REC back in body every minute (instead of REC every month) My question is: is this limitation too cheap? to expensive? Just right? Thanks. -- Aether
