Dear Mr.Long, Is there any protocol or popular "house rule" to decouple the SPD trait from the Hero System? I'd like to use generic 3-second combat rounds and implement a system of multiple action penalites, rather than use 12-phase turns. Quite plainly, I dread the number-crunching headache I anticipate will be needed to re-work the mechanics of the REC stat and the workings of END and STUN recoveries if the SPD trait is not used. Before I begin such a process, I want to know whether or not I'm "reinventing the wheel."

Has anybody done a conversion of Aberrant to HERO? I'm slowly (very slowly) working on one and I'd like to know if anyboyd's done any significant work they'd like to share. Regards, Canuck
