I've gotta give up to the Big D...Dr Destroyer. My players have always been afraid (very afraid) of him....
with good reason!!!

Victory goes to Dr Destroyer. No doubt in my mind. Also, I can't see them teaming up unless Dr Destroyer is clearly in charge.

Oops, missed mention of Golden Rod before....
How about a vampiric villain: Gold Vein
-
How about a baton wielding Martial Artist: Golden Rod
-
Skyknight (A powersuit equiped ex-fighter jock): Ben Affleck
Emerald Speedster (Impulsive speedster jokingly refered as "Faster than the Speed of Thought"): Owen Wilson
Capt. Crusader (Captain America/Batman hybrid):Howie Long

I have a character simular to this in my Campaign. His codename is American Dreamer but everyone just calls him Dreamer. He was an older african-american character who took part in the Civil Rights Movement. His precog abilities first manifested themselves soon after Martin Luther King's "I have a Dream" speech which truly inspired Dreamer. He uses his abilities to help brings Dr King's vision to fruition (and to stop many very bad alternative visions). He is more a philosopher/father figure than your standard Gung Ho flagsuit.

2) A new name for the Apache Chief character. I am toying with something like Ghost Mountain to represent his desolid/growth nature, but am open to suggestion.
Ghost Mountain is pretty good.
Another possible:
Great Spirit
The Reservation

I thought Captain Tokyo was called Moldiver

Grand Rapids 1
Alright!!!!! G.R. made the list! Now all we need is a Crusader.
-
Give them long pointy ears and they could be Elvish Impersonators.

In the comics, I've seen several different terms:
Spikes (as in power-level spikes)
Tweaks (low power supers)
Capes
Masks
Roofcrawlers

Loophole - A teleporting Lawyer, who used his powers to gather (And take) evidence on more than one occasion. More likely, he's been talked into this because it's now gotten too easy. Banks should be a piece of cake.
I like the name...but he should be the team teleporter (useful for "gathering" evidence, "interviewing" witnesses, etc. He should also be able to teleport in/out his companions as well.

I can imagine the kids.
Their daugther, Prism, has inherited a rock-hard crystalline body structure from her father and light based energy powers from her mother.
Their son, Glowstone, no only has inherited his father's rock-hard physique and vast strength, but also his flame/heat abilities which he can project much more effectively thanks to his mother's genetic influence
I can also see them being "schooled" in the "family business"
One of the few family-only supervillain groups.

Why the White Lion version (which I've never heard) as opposed to the Golden Earring version.
Simple ignorance. I didn't know Golden Earring had a version.

After reading several posts about foriegn countries and the possibility/concentration of supers, It occured to me that nearly every country with heroes would want an icon to represent it's philosophy/people. In other words, their own Captain America. The question to you all is what would be the name of the other nations' patriotic icon?

My group, Night Watch, is based out of fictional Gold Coast City (a combination Houston/Galveston)

My homebrewed Villain team
SLAY: a professional paranormal hit team
--Richochet: A Stretching Martial Artist
--Succubus: a earthbound demoness with a very high COM, low level Mind Control vs men only(1 command:kiss me) and a 5d6 Body Drain (target must kiss). Racked up over 15 PC hero kills.
--The Hunger: a Desolid wraith with a BODY Transfer (affects the Physical world).
--Cratermaker: A High Powered Brick with a BIG hammer.
--Micron: A Techie with Shrinking (Usable vs Others) linked with a strong Suppress.
--Frostbite: Cold/Ice Projector w/ a cumulative transform (turn to brittle ice statue)--really ugly when combined with
Cratermaker.
Over the years these guy have caused some serious mayhem, death, and destruction

Wizard magazine once did a Avengers casting call section which listed Howie Long (from the Radio Shack commercials) as a possible Cap. He's got the size, look, and voice to pull it off

Delia's Demon Bane
-- a Variable Special Effect (Any) Energy Blast.
How do you name a City?
in Champions
Posted
In my campaign world, I also went the DC-esque route for city naming (not sure I like it though...too much of a Marvel fan and spend too much time translating to real world equivalents)
Examples of my campaign cities include:
Gold Coast City (my campaign setting) --- Houston
Tea Port City ---Boston
Capital City---Washington DC
Liberty City---Philadelphia
New South City---Atlanta
Los Disneys---Orlando
Sun City---Miami
Delta City---New Orleans
Gateway City---St Louis
Hudson City (borrowed from Dark Champions)---Chicago
Lone Star City---Dallas
Tinsel City---L.A.
Motor City---Detroit (pre-Millenium City sourcebook)
