I'm thinking about implementing a level system in my game.
Every time a character completes a specific task, they get experience points.
Depending on how many experience points they've earned, they are at a specific character level.
I know this doesn't really fit the "feel" of the Hero system but it would be just a quick indicator to compare characters.
I suppose I could just show a running total of all experience points earned but somehow specific levels seem more "solid".
Does anyone have any ideas for this?
Specifically, how many points do you think a character needs to earn at each level to advance to the next level?
It's just an idea and I might scrap it but just curious about what you think...
