I was going to ask what in the world he could have said to get that kind of reaction, but then I thought better of it (not to mention, I don't think I want to know)...

 

The last time I remember getting so frustrated and just so ANGRY, I punched a dent a good 3-4 inches deep in the cinderblock wall of my dorm in Tucson. Scared the living daylights out of my roommate, who didn't know I could hit ANYTHING that hard (I was a much slenderer 115 lbs back then).

 

 

 

 

 

*looks over at Kara, and flicks the lights on and off to get her attention, then signs in ASL*

I gave up caffinated soda once.

 

It was the worst month and a half of my life.

I'm on my second round of giving up caffeine. And alcohol.

It'll last until the baby's born.

She thought they were extremely inappropriate for a girl my age. (And I know for a fact that since she has very small feet, there was no chance she could swipe them for herself).

And you were 18?

Of course, I have nothing to compare that to. Raised by hippies, I didn't have a lot of limits set on me. Ever.

Yeah, I think mine set me back $279...

 

Which is why I nearly strangled my mother when she found them in my closet one day and THREW... THEM... OUT. (I was 18 at the time, with a size 9 foot...)

 

And now that I wear a size 12, how the hell am I supposed to replace them?

I'm tall enough, IMO, thanks, that I won't wear platform shoes (not even the kind with the fish in them).

 

F***-me/F***-you boots, of course, are another matter entirely (I had a pair of GORGEOUS black leather thigh high boots, with steel toes and 5-inch steel stiletto heels).
