  1. Has anyone done an expanded list of perks and complications use 6e rules? For example: The various codes of honor for complications. The perk for being a congressman versus a senator.  It seems like there was a pretty comprehensive list, if I remember right for 5e, back in the day. It would be nice to be able to look at a long list of possible used perks and complications for 6e while making characters.

  2. Re: APG Cover Preview

I like the cover. It makes me think I can build an android from scratch, or the bionic-man for that matter.:)

Does anyone knoiw if APG is going to be in color? I'm pretty excited that Hero System 6E is in color. I hope to look forward to all Hero Game products to be in color.

  3. I was wondering if anyone has come across a picture of a generic looking Green Goblin? I'm looking for something that doesn't out right appear as Green Goblin, Demon Goblin, or Hobgoblin. However, I'm looking for something very similar; a wicked looking villain :sneaky: riding some sort of hover device.

  4. Re: Adventure Ideas For The Late 80s And The Berlin Wall

Oh my, oh no, my memory of the fall of the Berlin Wall has meshed into the 1990 concert! :ugly: Oh the memories… Those were the days… :help:Nevertheless, what I’m looking for is a reason for my PCs to be in Berlin during that monumental day. In addition, what sort of villainy would be amok? Yeah, pun intended...;)

  5. Warning to my gaming group, stay away from this thread, there could be spoilers here…

Recently, I started a Teen Champions campaign, and I have decided to take a different twist. The campaign takes place in the late 80s. Yup, I decided to go retro 80s and revamp my superhero universe. I mostly use the Champions Universe, however the time line is a little different since many of characters for Champions were made or remade for the present era. Anyhow, I’ve been thinking of my old high school days in the late 80s and early 90s and I remember a few events that happened worldwide; I was thinking some of these events could be cool to throw into adventures. The first big event I thought of was ‘The Fall of the Berlin Wall!’ This day is forever burned into my brain because I was at a Shakey’s eating pizza with a bunch of friends and it was on the news all night playing on the big TV. However, I’m not so sure how accurate I remember the events; to me, being 14 years old, the how event looked like a rock concert with a lot of vandalism. I imagine Scorpions and Pink Floyd playing in the background. Being that many of us that play Champions are from the Ol School, I was thinking maybe you guys could help me brainstorm adventure ideas; the who, why, and what of the Berlin Wall Adventure. Any ideas?

  6. My gaming group has just grown to about 9 to 10 players. My friend finished running two D&D 4e games with this huge group. Some problems ran deep with the ADD (Not A D&D) getting out of hand and the slowness of the story and combat. Very little if any role playing (acting) was done in this game. About four people are new to the group so shyness is bound to happen, but I really don’t think people being shy will be a problem. Right now my friend is getting ready to GM this group in Mutants and Masterminds. I’m cringing in the corner thinking about when I will run my Super Hero Universe (Hero System used) with this group. I really don’t want to slim the group down, because all these guys seems like great gamers and a lot of fun could come from this experience. So, I’m turning to you guys for advice on how to gm a supers game with such a large player turn out. I know on this message board there are many gamers with a great amount of years of experience and wisdom.

  7. For a low powered Super Hero campaign, a friend of mine wants to make a character whose primary powers revolve around (are) being lucky. He wants to have the ability to use this power in gambling, although he is looking for something different then a bonus to the gambling skill. He is looking for a power to insure his success in gambling; make sure he rolls sevens (maybe name this power the Devils Blessing),guess what number someone is thinking between 1 & 100, what cards they might be holding, what door is the lucky door, ect... (Let us call the power Lucky Guess). How would you build a power(s) that allows a character to do these things?

  8. Re: Silver Age Superman

Is multipower appropriate for Supermans powers? The player of this character would be shifting points between Armor, Str ,EB, SPD, Flight and others often in a battle. Does his separate armor represent his normal armor and his multipower armor represent when he focuses to be tougher; like we sometimes see in the comics?

Maybe I forgot how the rules work or am over looking the silverage theme.

Maybe puting his powers in an element package might workand call it kryptonian Body.
