If I have to pick a place in Europe, I pick somewhere on the Mediterranean coast, where I can dip into Classical Greece and Rome.

How I'd do this in HD would probably depend greatly on what the combo was. Simplest case? Athletics has Acro, Break, and Climb...all DEX skills. OK, buy one, then just edit the Name and Display lines. Cat Burglar has Climb, Lockpick, and Secur Sys...DEX, INT, INT. If the DEX and INT are the same, and likely to stay the same, you can do the above. If not, then just elaborate in the Display line. Won't update neatly, unfortunately...but that's true with a Custom Skill too. I'd use a Custom Skill when you're combining normal and background skills, probably.
I thought I'd just use the Custom Skill selection under the Skills tab.

I thought I'd check before doing the work myself:
Did anyone add the rules for Skill Combinations from HERO Skills (6e) to Hero Designer? (Or is it on there, and I'm just not seeing it.)

Ah, finally got it to work. I think I did what you said, but it could also have been I kept quitting the launcher rather than choosing Exit from Designer's File menu.
Thanks.

Would anyone happen to know how that works on a Mac OS?

It's annoying to have to check this box each time I turn on HERO Designer. Is there some way to get it to stay on even when I close the program?

If I want both Flash (Sight) and Blast (AVAD: Flash Defense [Sight]) to be used at the same time I apply Linked. But you're not allowed to Link two slots in a Multipower, and I don't know how to put two different effects on "line" so they count as one slot.
Is there a way to do this, or do I need to use Flexible slots?

Plausibility and groundedness. I like my fantasy to feel obviously made-up and at least semi-impossible. Otherwise I get a feeling of uncanny valley.
