Master Villains This will be a list of the elite master villains of the campaign in an A to Z Encycopedia form. Dr. Destroyer Considered one of the most powerful threats in the super human world, the ruler of Romania has been the arch enemy of the Atom Family since their very beginning. The fact he created his suit of powerful armor independently and not based on designs from Daedalus is testament to his scientific genius. Is rumored to also be a sorcerer of the dark arts of excellent ability although this has never been confirmed. Various crimes have never had a hope to be proved due to his diplomatic immunity as his countries absolute ruler. Is said to be the father of Lord D'Arc.

Earth Prime Timeline This post will be used as an expanding timeline for the campaign 1970 The future Dr. Destroyer born in Romania. 1993 Dr. Destroyer is hideously disfigured in a scientific accident in America involving Dr. Atom 1996 Dr Destroyer and his highly advanced body armor first revealed to the world when he publicly attacks the Atom Family for the first time.

I am going to use this thread to detail my upcoming hopefully long term superhero campaign using Hero 5th edition. The only rule so far is that I am only going to use NPC's that have previously been published in the huge amount of super rpg's I have. One of the fun things I am going to try to do is create a huge world of supers and try to mix them all together, changing, eliminating and using various characters, groups, events, etc from the all the games and settings I have. I will be using the next few postings for timelines, groups, organisations, places, lists of characters and will come back to edit and add to them as time goes on. I will be using the Champions universe as my base reality so when I add in a character from another supers setting my golden rule will be to connect them to at least one other character or group from the original champions setting. I will also be eventually coming up with say 30 to 50 of the settings most important heroes and teams, the ones where in the setting they are popular or unique enough to have a comic or multiple comics published about them and organizing the villains into rogues galleries of those heroes or the PC's. If you guys can think of any other cool connections between characters or groups as I go then feel free to suggest anything you feel would add to the campaign. i have plenty of time to develop the setting so am in no rush going to slowly add stuff as I go. I will also be using setting stuff from other genres, the conspiracy genre comes to mind as I have a ton of Conspiracy X material that I love which would be fun to include.

One of the questions I am grappling with in the new champions game I am creating is that I want to really reduce the the origins for power sources quite considerably to make them be a little more realistic and logical rather than a total free for all. For example looking at many of the older villains for champs I have lost count on how many are experiments gone wrong, with yet another set of scientists on yet another secret project! Instead of each power armor character being a totally new project maybe their have been only half a dozen of these in history that all such designs flow from? maybe one super solider program that has been adapted and used for all those type of characters since? Possibly all darkness themed powers come from an alternate dark dimension? I remember champions new millennium had very particular origin sources for characters like the gate keys or specialized martial arts schools which I thought was really cool. Do you have a finite amount of alien races or alternate hidden races on earth? or do you keep it completely gonzo? How do you handle such origins for power sources and character types in your campaign or campaigns you have been involved with?

Hey guys, I have been up to my neck in it at work last couple of weeks, so have not been able to continue with the thread> i have some more time now so I will continue to start creating my campaign I will start a new thread for actual characters, groups and background and keep this thread for questions and feedback. Thank you for all your contributions so far. What are the rules for posting Hero Designer character sheets to the forum? does it depend if they are from previous editions or games?

Encyclopedia Earth 2 As I am going through my collection I am making a setting A to Z bible with just a couple sentences on each character, team, place etc so I can keep it all straight in my head. After I have reviewed each book, i will update the document and post it here so you can see how I am progressing. I thought that would be a better option than putting loads of individual messages up on characters. The rule being that all names as much as possible will be taken from material I own, but sometimes re imagined to fit into the kind of setting I am building in my head. I wont usually do an entry until I come across them in my product review, even though they may be mentioned in other entries. Here is the file after reviewing Champions 2nd edition rulebook. Adventurers Club Issue 1 Characters that made the cut - Exoskeleton Man I find this guy hilarious as Foxbat's number one fan! Good to give Foxbat some back up, not sure if he was updated in later editions?

Champions core rule book 2nd edition characters I am going to go through each book I have slowly and make an encyclopedia document for characters that make the cut into my campaign world and how they connect to each other and groups. the following characters in the book make the cut Armadillo, Crusader, Dragonfly, Green Dragon, Howler, Icicle, Mechanon, Ogre, Pulsar, Shrinker, Starburst, Also interestingly there are lots of of characters named in examples, have any of you fleshed out any of the following character names mentioned in the book? Mind Maid, Mercenary, Airacobra, Force, Density,Photon, Microwave, Spinerette, Nebula, Black Leopard, Leech (I think he got a full villain write up later), Moth, Windstorm, Paladin, Projectra, Hornet, Earthson, Hexmaster, Crater, Titan, Centurion,Speedster, Flare, Sunburst (pretty sure he was in Project Sunburst), Bomber, White Crane, Starlight, Pantera (member of Eurostar statted out), Golden Swordsman, Morningstar I have not included characters I know where members of the Guardians like Marksman, Rose, Goliath, Icestar that are mentioned. Anyone done anything with these names? or are they written up later in material I have overlooked? I find it fascinating that these were possible characters from the original authors campaigns.

Anyone know of any good X-Men or New Mutants like groups either in the CU edition settings or in other superhero games? I cant think of anything off the top of my head but would like to have groups like that in my setting, I am going to use the NextGen from M&M as more a young hero group training group with no specific mutant connections so need a couple of hero groups that mutants would find a natural home in. As i said the rule is to try and use stuff thats already been published if possible rather than me create stuff whole cloth.

One thought I have had is that would people be interested in the details of the campaign as I slowly put it together? characters, locations groups etc, how they all fit together, a timeline, history etc. If so how would I share that with you guys? I am guessing it is frowned upon putting up hero designer sheets of CU characters? would a separate thread be the best way or should I attach documents like an encyclopedia word doc to the first post and edit it as I go, with broad setting details?
