Hey all. JUST bought the game and I'm going to use it for my Marvel and DC solo skirmish gaming as I think the combat (from my research) is perfect for what I'm looking for. I've found a TON of player made stats for Marvel & DC characters but there are quite a few missing. Now, not knowing much about the game let alone character creation I figure I should read the rules and play some games before I even attempt to do some write ups. But, I'm here asking for any tips and tricks when I do start my write ups. I was thinking of doing comparisons for stats and powers, but I'd appreciate any advice you could provide as how I should go about it. Thanks!

Are there any Marvel and DC character write ups for Champions? I'm not seeing anything on the website, but I'm new and still poking around. Also, while I'm here, what books should I be getting for just wanting to do skirmish battles between a small group of heroes vs villains? I'm not sure what are the differences between Champions and HERO system. Thanks

Appreciate the information. I do have Super Skirmish Gaming and it seems somewhat simple (not a bad thing) but it doesn't have much fan created Marvel and DC character stats and I don't really have the time for all that work. I'm eyeballing the Marvel FASERIP system too, but not sure which of these 2 rules will suit my needs the best. I'll have to do some digging! On a side not.....there are fan created stats for Marvel & DC characters, right? I looked here and didn't see anything, but I just glanced around for a wee bit. Thanks again

Just wondering if folks here think Champions/HERO would work as a skirmish miniature combat only game? Coming from a Heroclix and Marvel Crisis Protocol background (neither game I liked much) I'm wondering if these rules would work for my needs? Thanks
