  1. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... A weather powered EP has frozen a group of thugs ((severly good rolling on that one......)) before saying.... "Now is the winter of your discontent." yeah it was a pres attack...
  2. Re: Golden Age thoughts Thats a good one! I had almost forgotten about that.
  3. Re: Golden Age thoughts thats a great answer. and thanks for the post. I was thinking more along the lines of timestream limits. For instance unless I am wrong the Earilest Iron Man was all transistor technology, were as now its nano-machines
  4. I was knocking some thoughts and ideas around with my group the other day and we got to "discussing" the Golden Age of comics. I thought I would get some thoughts and ideas from you all to bring back up when we meet next, so the question is..... What limits would you impose on a Golden Age character? Also just how far advanced should the gadgeteer be able to advance tech?
  5. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... From an old VTM game. Our group tracks the vampiire who killed our real families to the zoo. My Gangrel was preparing to call aid from some of the more dangerous animals present ((lion, tigers, and bears! )) when the Malkavian ALLY dominates him and does some "suggesting" I summoned my best dark dramatic voice and called down upon our foe a swarm of......... Butterflies
  6. Re: Historical Archtypes Thank you captain Obvious!!!! ((I have always wanted to say that.)) Please don't forget to give your $.02 about that first question. Here is your next name. William Shakespere would be a good mentalist due to his abillity to project his ideas on the public? Dare I ask what we would say about Adolf Hitler? Or what about Gods and Goddess? For instance what would we call Odin?
  7. Re: Historical Archtypes Could he also be a gadgeteer?
  8. Re: Historical Archtypes hmm all right, thats good so far. but what if we turned it around a little? instead of going with the Archtypes first, what if I gave a name and let you argue amongst yourselves? So lets start. Captain Nemo
  9. Re: Historical Archtypes Thats a good point that I overlooked. and to add to the list... Hannibal Lector as a Mentalist Vlad Tepes as either a Patriot or Weaponmaster.
  10. Re: Historical Archtypes I went home and thought about it, and what about.... Sherlock Holmes as a Mentalist And do you think we could get away with saying Lancelot and Arthur as Power Armors?
  11. Re: Historical Archtypes Love these too, and while I would never question Miyamoto, that also means that we cannot forget Shingen Takeda, or say maybe Lu Bu from China.
  12. Alright folks here is a good question. Lets see how many Historical/ Fictional Archtypes we can name. For instance... Speedster: Heremes/Mercury from the Greek/Roman Pantheon.((Courier to the gods seems to need speed more than anything else)) Brick: Samson from the Bible. Etc.. Etc... I won't bore you all with listing all the archtypes, but lets see what we come up with.
