Christopher
A classic is the "Cane Sword". A sword hidden in a cane. And it is not just for old people: Cane Sword: Killing Attack +2D6 (HTH Range), 0 Endurance, Inobvious Accessible Focus (IAF). Season depending on how you view swords should operate Mechanically (Fantasy or Heroic Setting) Hiding a weapon becomes a lot easier if the blade is energy. That means just turning it off gives it a lot smaler Profile. I particular liked how they hid/dual purposed their Lightsabers in Star Wars Rebels: Another trick is hiding a weapon in a less restricted weapon. Say: Handblasters are semi allowed. Blaster Rifles are strongly restricted. A heavy blaster packs a Rifles firepower into a Blaster housing. The disadvantage is poorer range and ammunition capacity. The original sword of Thundera was in "Shortsword" form, until it was activated. Then it became a proper longsword. Shortswords were usually designed to get around weapon-limitations on swords.
