BadNews
Hi there. I guess the subject have allready been disscued herr, but last time I checked, the results wasn't rellay "officialy unofficial) ;o) So, is ther any way to compute an automaton EGO value in order to resist "Cyberkinesis"? BTW is ther an "official" Cyberkinesis power and the most important: it's limits? (Tech levl of the target, level of autotised functions necessary to be controled, how about Nano-Swarms, etc...) Thank you for your time. Have fun. BadNews.
Derek Hiemforth
Re: Automaton EGO Originally posted by BadNews So, is ther any way to compute an automaton EGO value in order to resist "Cyberkinesis"? If the automaton has an EGO (such as an AI), use its EGO. If it has only INT, substitute INT for EGO. If it has neither INT nor EGO, the GM either assigns an EGO based on the machine's sophistication and allows the power to work normally, or he can rule that such machines are affected only by non-Mental powers with cyberkinetic special effects. (So if the latter option is used, such a machine could be affected by, say, Telekinesis or Dispel, but not by Mind Control.) This is all discussed in more detail in the UNTIL Superpowers Database book, which has a whole chapter of Cyberkinetic Powers.
