From your description, the long lasting adder can apply after the power is not being used then, is that correct? For example, if I use CE "make plants bloom" with long lasting: one day, then I'll use the power once, and its effects will last that long.
It may sound the same as a continuing charge, but to me theres a difference. With the Con Ch, the power is active that whole time, not just the effects. While up it can be dispelled, suppressed, or whatever.
