Transform Damage

I've read the book, the FAQ and debated with my GM all week .. and we're still a bit confused so.

 

When using a Major Transform "Into Powerless Puddle of Goop" on Standard Super Guy who's 350pts to make him the aformentioned PPoG which is a 0pt thing.. do you have to do 2 x (BODY + 1/5 Points Lost) as you would if increasing the characters total points? Or just 2x the BODY?

This is covered by the text at the top right of 5E 153, which says that a Transform can deprive a target of powers. This doesn't require anything extra -- just doing 2xBODY. The rules about adding abilities, which requires taking the added points into account in some cases, are immediately below that.
