NND/AVLD vs Flash Defense

Gary

Question

Since a character who's already been Flashed can't be Flashed again and has effectively infinite Flash defense, would a character who has already been Flashed be immune to NND/AVLD attacks vs Flash Defense?

If the answer to the above is yes, what happens if a character has a NND/AVLD vs Flash Defense with a Flash attack Linked? Does that effectively go "second" and thus do no damage if the Flash succeeds?

No; not being affected by Flashes isn't the same thing as having FD. Whether he can be affected by Flashes isn’t the issue; it’s whether he has the defined defense. But as with anything else, GMs should interpret the situation in light of special effects, common sense, dramatic sense, and considerations of game balance.
