Usable On Others

d'Jarvish

Question

At the end of the Usable On Others Advantage it says, "Similarly, an character can use a Focus which isn't Personal even though this Advantage isn't bought for it; that's part of the Focus Limitation."

What does this mean? Does it mean that the Power to be granted can have a Focus that the character needs to have (I cast a spell on some berries and give them to someone so that when they eat them they have increased CON)?

Re: Usable On Others

That quote refers to the fact that a character can loan a Focus that's not Personal to another character and let him use it. He's not required to apply UBO to a Focus just to have the ability to loan it to someone. For example, if a character has an ordinary gun or knife, he can give it to another character to use for a particular battle, then get it back from him afterwards.
