In C.K.'s question, he puts forth the following power construct:
5d6 EB+3d6 EB, Linked, No Range (linked to the 5 dicer).
Now, am I completely misinterpretting the Linked limitation, or wouldn't the target's defenses apply separately to each of those blasts (rather than accumulating)?
For example, if the 5d6 blast does 18 STUN, and the 3d6 STUN blast does 12 ... and the target has 15 Defense, wouldn't the results be:

(18-15)+(12-15)-15=3 STUN rather than
(18+12)-15=15 STUN damage?
