My players are travelling 900 miles by ocean (for you TA buffs: From Kasselden in Thurgandia to Aarn) and I have no idea how long that would take. Anyone know how long that would take? However, others have taken 92 days if they made it at all. So, average wind, current, and calm seas for the whole journey: 73 days. storming 1/3 of the time 119 days. perfect weather, strong wind, and strong current: 49 days. I'd say roll 4d6, count the body at 10 per day and add that to 40 days. That will give you a heavy curve from 50 to 120 days.
