Crystal is much weaker. Jack is technically as powerful if not more powerful than Zebra Girl. If anything, he's not a disadvantage. Look at the 'pulling the nail out of the thumb' error, and his uselessness against the Doyenne. He tracked her down and became 'instant hostage -- just add water'.
