And we're moving, we're moving...

SirViss

Question

I don't know if there is a ule about this, but since the "Push" maneuver was introduced in UMA I've been thinking about this:

Under which situation(s) can you move someone which you have Grabbed (against his will)?

The Push maneuver seems to imply this is difficult at least. But in many superhero genre very strong characters often pick-up someone and jump away with him, or something like that. Is there a point at which a character can just pick character of much less strength up and run away with them?

Just to make sure we're on the same page, I am assuming you're talking about the Shove Martial Maneuver.

For rules about Shoving someone a character has Grabbed, see UMA 145. Otherwise, there are no particular rules on the subject; it's assumed that if a character strong enough to pick someone up, he's strong enough to move him after he's picked him up (though Encumbrance rules may apply).

For general shoving rules, see the Rules FAQ under "Other Combat Effects."
