Powerhouse
Basically, I've heard of both and was wondering if these are the same book and whether they are for 5th edition. Thanks!
Agent X
Re: Ultimate Mystic vs Ultimate SuperMage Ultimate Super-Mage is a 4th Edition product only available for download. Ultimate Mystic is what they are planning on releasing for 5th Edition. The main difference, other than edition and format, is that USM was made for the Champions genre and UM will be made for multiple genres. CDad
Re: Ultimate Mystic vs Ultimate SuperMage I do believe Ultimate SuperMage is a 4th Ed. book (I have a .pdf version), and Ultimate Mystic is teh 5th Ed. version.
Steve Long
Re: Ultimate Mystic vs Ultimate SuperMage The Ultimate Supermage was a 4th Edition PDF by Dean Shomshak. It's no longer available for sale. Dean's written two books for 5th Ed: The Mystic World (plus an ancillary tome, Arcane Adversaries) and the forthcoming The Ultimate Mystic. In some senses you could describe these two books as having taken the contents of the old USM, split them up, and rewritten and expanded upon them extensively. TMW and UMY cover much the same ground as USM, but they're better generally, more comprehensive, and more properly organized.
