That's what I get for taking other people's interpretations of Shape Shift to mind. Okay, since Shape Shift is a real change, what would be the minimum required adders for a functional physical change, i.e. male to female, human to chicken, etc. Would Cellular be required?

No, Cellular's not needed, though without it the absence/presence of Y chromosomes would be a giveaway under microscopic analysis. Check the examples on 5ER 216 -- I'd say Sight and Touch at a minimum, but I don't know entirely what you have in mind for this power, so only you can be the final judge.
