UOO and 0 END Persistant

Killer Shrike

Question

Hi Steve, I read the FAQ and consulted FREd but couldnt find the answer.

When granting a Power which is UBO 0 END Persistant 0 Range:

Q: What is the limit to the duration that the recipient may keep the power, and does it need to be predefined when granting the power or can it be terminated at any time by the granting character?

Q: Is the 'maximum range' that the recipient may travel from the granter and still keep the power equal to AP x 5 even though the Power is 0 Range?

Q: If someone Suppresses or Dispels the power on the granter, what happens to the recipient(s)?

Q: If someone Suppresses or Dispels the power on a recipient, what happens to the granter and any other recipient(s)?

Thanx!

1. There is no defined time limit other than the standard rules for Persistent. The GM may establish a set limit if he feels this would be abusive (or, more accurately, if he feels the player of the character with the UBO power would abuse it by granting lots of Persistent powers to his friends). The granting character can’t terminate the power at will; the recipient determines when it goes away.

2. Yes.

3. The recipient(s) lose the power.

4. Nothing; only the targeted recipient loses the power.
