P.281 of FREd states that when knocked back into a wall or something similar you receive damage equal to 1d6 per 1" of KB. Further down that page (on the right column) it ignores this rule and says that you receive damage equal to the wall's DEF+Body in d6.
Which is true or do you use both? The example on the page describes only the damage from the second rule.
