Steve Long
Re: Figured Characteristics For purposes of the rules governing the Characteristics Power, consider things like CV and the leaping gained from STR to be “Figured Characteristics†and apply the standard rules. Typically a purchase of Characteristics is going to involve a Limitation or Advantage that tells you, through the application of common sense and dramatic sense, whether it should increase something like CV. For example, a magical amulet (an OIF) that increases DEX generally would also increase CV. An ability that adds DEX “Only To Improve Agility Skill Rolls†wouldn’t, since clearly something that only increases Agility Skills shouldn’t have any effect on CV. If the power has the Limitation No Figured Characteristics, then it won’t add to something like CV or leaping.
