PhilFleischmann
Pages 60, 74, 90, 129, 146 60: It is clear that the unnamed river flows south from the Thurisian Mountains and then east past Sollare. Then it flows to the Bernina River and something unspecified happens: does it branch into two rivers, the Bernina and the unnamed river which continues east? Or does it join with a river flowing west to form the Bernina? The same thing happens again at the Ettinstone with the River Loskell. The text describes this east/west river as the Ordring, which splits off to form the Loskell. The same thing happens a third time and continues on page 74: where the Tarnwater apparently joins into the Ordring. What happens here? It can be assumed that since the river segments on the east and west sides of this juncture are both the Ordring, they both flow in the same direction. But what is that direction? East, meaning the water from the Drakine Mountains eventually empties into Lake Beralka; or west, meaning the Ordring flows out of Lake Beralka and eventually drains into the Sea of Storms in two different places. Either way, the Tarnwater has to make some rather odd turns, flowing toward Mount Melgar and the Nagyrian Mountains. This is rather odd behavior for rivers, which tend to flow away from mountains. Also, which way does the Shaanda River flow: east from Lake Beralka to the Sea of Mhorec, or west from Mhorec to Beralka? 90: Which way does the Lanarca River flow? What is the name of the river between Two Rivers and the Sea of Mhorec, and which way does it flow? 129: Presumably, the Diolaso and Chatac Rivers flow out of Lake Kalkana, but they could flow into it. And is the Diolaso or the Tambura the tributary to the other? Or perhaps the Tambura splits into two rivers, one flowing into the lake and one flowing into the sea. 146: Where does the Otilda River empty? Presumably, it flows out of the mountains, but it seems to mysteriously disappear in the shadow woods.

logomancer
Re: Turakian Age: Which way do the rivers flow? I would think they would follow standard physics: away from mountains and high lands, toward oceans. But...it's fantasy, so do whatever. Steve Long
Re: Turakian Age: Which way do the rivers flow? Page 60 -- the "unnamed" river is the River Loskell. Part of it splits off to form the Bernina, but it remains the Loskell all the way to Aarn. The Ordring River flows into it at the Ettinstone. Page 74 -- the Tarnwater and the Erasarth flow into the Ordring. The Ordring flows into the Loskell, and thence to the sea. None of them flow into Lake Beralka. The Shaanda River flows from Beralka to the Sea of Mhorec. Page 90 -- the Lanarca flows south from the Sea of Mhorec, past Two Rivers, and into the ocean. 129 -- yes, the Diolaso and the Chatac flow out of Kalkana. The Tambura flows into the Diolaso. 146 -- it flows into the ocean, but it's so heavily forested it was easier not to draw it in. Assume it flows pretty much straight east to the ocean.
