keithcurtis Posted September 12, 2005 Report Share Posted September 12, 2005 In 1976, Universal gifted its entire run of Newreels, from 1929 to 1967 to the National Archive, placing them in the public Domain. Archive.org has them all available for free download at http://www.archive.org/details/universal_newsreels. If you have broadband (or a lot of patience) you could play an appropriate reel right before a game of Pulp Hero to give a real air of authenticity. Take a look; it's pretty cool!
