Valdorian Age Tokens

Hi Steve!

 

In Valdorian Age scapegoats cannot give away a token since they don't have sorcerer training (p. 122)

 

Any Official Ruling on what happens if someone steals a token from a 'scapegoat?' (Or would it be best covered under House Rules &/ GM Caveat and this question posted to the Hero System Discussion Thread?)

 

Sorcerers can either give tokens away or 'loose' them if they are stolen. The section doesn't mention what happens if a token is stolen from a 'scapegoat.' Thought I'd ask since Sorcery almost always involves some sort of conscious and deliberate act (ie. Skill Roll) and the specified reasoning in the text itself behind the 'scapegoat's not being able to get rid of a token is lack of Sorcerer Training; however, if a token is stolen from a Sorcerer, that requires no volition from the Sorcerer.

I'd typically rule that the scapegoat's still stuck with the obligation even though the token itself is gone -- but it couldn't hurt to start a thread on the FH board to discuss the issue. There might be some good adventure seeds lurking in there somewhere.
