+PER rolls values (argh)

Hey Steve, good afternoon! Happy Friday!

 

The last post (5pt.) reminded me of a question I keep meaning to ask you.

 

In FREd, it specifies that a +1 to a group or a skill (say, Perception!) is 2 CP:1 point of improvement.

 

In the Bestiary, you have wolves at +3 with scent at six points, which tells me that 2:1 is fine, but within a tightly focused group. Am I reading the rule wrong? What would a straight +1 to all PER rolls cost? Or did I do it right and I've just run into a design/philosophy question?

+1 with all PER Rolls costs 3 Character Points, as listed under "Enhanced Senses" in the rulebook. It's not a Skill Level, it's a Power, which may be where the confusion arises.
