IST Pittsburgh

Yep, another try with the IST. This time, it'll be in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, my home town. Hopefully, the IST will help it get of a sea of red ink soon.

IST author Robert M. Schroeck put a timeline for the IST in the 1990s on his IST website. It's at http://www.eclipse.net/~rms/ist1990s.html.

In 2003, the city of Sunnydale, California fell into a crater.

In March of 2004, Josiah Bartlet, the Governer of New Hampshire, announced that he was a candidate for the office of President of the United States. He also announced that he had relapsing-remitting form of Multiple Sclerosis and that his eldest daughter, Holly, who was married and a circus performer, had been adopted by him and his wife, Abbey, when she was 14, after her parents, both fourth-generation circus performers, were killed in an accident.

Three days later, Secret Service agent Connie Wells made a one day visit to the circus. Since there was a good chance that, if they were close by, Governer Bartlet would visit the show to see his daughter, she was to obtain a copy of the show route and a copy of the employee list. Instead, the Secret Service was granted access to the part of the show's server that such things are kept on.

In May of 2004, The Sunnydale Crater National Park was dedicated. On display, behind a chain-link fense and under a plastic canopy, is a yellow school bus. The sign on the fence states that it's the last vehicle to leave Sunnydale.

In June of 2004, monsters of various kinds attacked Los Angeles. Police, the military, the IST, and local heroes fought the attackers. The battle was covered on two channels. A well-known media personality was on another claiming that Bush had ties to the law firm of Wolfram and Hart, which was a front for the evil organization DEMON. Another channel had a U.S. infrantryman talking about fighting HSTs in South America. Another channel had the British Prime Minister holding a press conference with Buffy Summers, the head Vampire Slayer.

More to come.

Re: IST Pittsburgh

During the battle, a spaceship the size of the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars flew from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Los Angeles and landed near the battle and Ellen Hoynes, the daughter of Presidential candidate John Hoynes, who now lives in Pittsburgh, and a group of male and female friends exited it and joined the battle on the side of the heroes. After the battle, John revealed that Ellen was a Slayer.

Also during the battle, it was revealed that three Bartlet campaign staffers, Bonnie Clark, Cathy Nakamura, and Donna Moss, are skilled at fighting the undead. Donna and Cathy are Slayers while Bonnie is a Guardian Witch, the highest level a white witch can be. (The Charmed Ones are Guardian Witches.)

An IST spokesman said that they had no problem with Bonnie, Cathy, and Donna working for the President of the United States.

Re: IST Pittsburgh

Two years before the space ship mentioned above made its first public appearance, NASA joined forces with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center to create a center for space medicine.

NASA has no interested in above space ship. Instead, they've made arrangements with Boeing to lease thei 767-clone single-stage-to-orbit space shuttle they're almost finished constructing.

Although its name is unknown, it's said that it'll carry the name of a famous space ship from movies and television. According to odds makers, the odds on favorite is Andromeda Ascendant.

Re: IST Pittsburgh

While he was a candidate, Jed and Abbey Bartlet visited the Ross Brothers Circus, where their adopted daughter Holly worked, several times. In most cases, these visits were short, but it gave them time to meet the Reese, Nishigawa, and Campbell families, all of which were related, by marriage, to the Vasquaz family, that Holly had married into.

During one of these visits, reporters caught Susan Reese, a band member, hugging a golden retriever guide dog. When one asked her why she was doing this when the sign on the harness asked people not to, a fellow band member replied, "That's only true when they're working. Besides, that's her guide dog."

Susan then looked up and said, "She's not my guide dog. I'm her person." Turning to the dog, she asked, "Isn't that right, Sugar?" As if in reply, Sugar first nuzzled, then licked Susan's left ear. Susan, in return, planted a sloppy kiss on Sugar's muzzle.

"They're definately a team," Abbey said.

"Agreed," Jed said.
