Buying Martial Manuevers

Hey (again);

 

One other thing that was haunting me - the Paladin bought a Martial Manuever, Sacrifice Strike for 5 CP, and it granted him a wicked bonus to his DC. Is that all there is to it? Just buying that martial manuever straight up? Mathematically it seems he'd need 40 CP (+4 5 pt. CSLs, modified to deal +4 DC killing). And yet, for 5 points, voila! +4 DC with Mr. Greatsword.

 

Did I rule that right, or am I missing sumfink?

The first thing you're missing is that a character has to spend a minimum of 10 points on Martial Arts. He can't just buy one maneuver. The second thing is the way Martial Maneuvers add to Killing Damage; see 5ER 406.
