HALO to HERO Conversion v.0.1

Assuming I attached it correctly, please find, download and review the attached Word Document. It's v.0.1 of HALO Hero. I may later be asking some of you (Susano, I'm looking at you) for help with Character Writeups because, frankly, this has been a wonderful exercise in building THINGS, but I have yet to really get my feet wet building PEOPLE in all of their nuances.

 

When this doc is done, I hope to have:

 

Chapter A: Weapons & Deployment of the UNC, including armament, vehicles, MJOLNIR, and so on. I'd also like some fan-fic in there to set the tone.

 

Chapter B: Tools of the Great Journey (or words to that effect). The Covenant side, told to an extent from the Covenant side (see HALO 2).

 

Chapter C: History, details about the Precursors, what they did & why they did it.

 

Chapter D: A Bestiary, detailing multiple iterations of various races, their armor, preferred arms & armament, the Sentinels & the Flood. Just to be fair, I'd also like to include some various marines; pilots, rifleman, special forces, and so on. I may need Hv3 to do this properly.

 

Chapter E: All major players from the HALO series; Capt. Keyes, Cmdr. Keyes, Master Chief, Cortana, Half-Jaw, the Arbiter, the Prophet of Regret, 343 Guilty Spark, the Devourer, the Prophet of Truth, and of course, Sgt. Johnson.

 

It's an ambitious project, but I wanted to get some of the early material out there and in one place. Please read, comment, and return comments at your leisure.

If I can get what... my cat says 'hello.' If I c... dammit! If I can get what I want done this weekend, next and the one following, then in about two weeks. I also want to do a total redraft, install Quick Find searches, possibly creating a hyperlinked Table of Contents (although the QF is easier). Thanks for your support, Tony!
