On May 19th his unit came under heavy fire during a brief counterattack near the town of Laon. Observers were surprised to see Karsten walking out of the combat zone, his body erupting with flame everything a French mortar round detonated near him. Although exposed to no less than four explosions from mortars, he arrived back at the German lines only bruised, albeit naked. The second German Ãœbermensch, Karsten was named "Feuerzauber" (Fire Magic), and rushed to Berlin to meet Hitler and be made into another Nazi propaganda tool. he was assigned to various trouble spots throughout the war before meeting his end in an oil storage facility outside of Stalingrad. Soviet shellfire caused a firestorm to erupt amid the storage tanks, resulting in Feuerzauber and his men to die via asphyxiation. Personality/Motivation: Feuerzauber is described as having "fanatical Nazi ideas," and was a known close friend of Der Flieger, who was also dedicated to the Nazi cause. Powers/Tactics: An experienced soldier, Feuerzauber's Talent is twofold. Not only is he immune to physical attack, but he disperses the kinetic energy from such an attack in the form of a blast of heat and flame around his body. To top it off, he was not only immune to this burst of heat, but natural flame as well. Unfortunately, his clothing and gear is not, so any significant use of his power will rapidly leave him naked and unarmed. Appearance: Feuerzauber is described as having "classic Aryan features," which would seem to indicate he was tall, blond, and blue eyed. As an SS officer, he would wear the standard uniform, discarding the issue helmet for a black cloth cap. Designer's Notes: Feuerzauber is one of the Talents from the W.W.II RPG Godlike. His stats and powers were adapted from his character sheet and reflect the idea that in Godlike one is a very normal human physically with some very unnormal super powers. His point level pushes him firmly into the real of the superhuman, and he probably needs no real adjustments to his character sheet (although you might want to bump up his DEX, CON, and SPD). Feuerzauber's "Wave of Heat" power uses the expanded (and highly optional) rules for Trigger from Digital Hero Issue 11. I'm using it here as it gives the exact effect I was looking for, which was a power that activated when something impacted with Feuerzauber, whether it was ranged or not. The 20d6 EB is based on the idea that W.W.II 75 and 88 mm cannon do around 19-21 Damage Classes (roughly 6d6 RKA, or 4d6+1 RKA Armor Piercing). (Feuerzauber created by created by Dennis Detwiller, character sheet created by Michael Surbrook)
Trebuchet
A Damage Shield as sole means of "attack" is an interesting twist. He'd be a bear for hand to hand types, but any good energy projector would eat him for lunch. Compare him to my heat-based supervillainess Plasma posted elsewhere in the Champions forum. But remember he's taken from the world of GODLIKE, where he's going to encounter a lot of bullets and shrapnel, and not a whole lot of plasma blasts and he like. And he's still immune to natural heat and flame. Oh, and he does carry the standard weapons of an SS officer (I left those off).

You're following the creator's concept; I for one certainly won't fault you for that. Concept is not defined by what you can do, but what you won't do during design and play. In a game universe where there are few opponents with weaponry beyond guns and grenades, he would be well-nigh unstoppable. In a straight-up Champions game, he'd be dead meat for any low-powered EB or mentalist. My martial artist couldn't touch him. (Or if she did she probably wouldn't live to regret it. Since she's Russian I doubt he'd cut her any slack, and since he's a Nazi I doubt he'd hesitate to kill her.)
