Character "A" has 8" Combat, 62" Non Combat leaping.
He falls out of a plane (he does not intentionally leap out under control). He hasn't built up velocity for the leap with a few steps, though he has plenty of velocity from the fall.
When he hits the ground, can he use his leaping to counter the damage?
Can he apply 5" of upward velocity against his downward velocity, as per the acceleration at 5" per hex rule, or all 30" of his upwards leap, or none?

As always, thanks.
