Targets must make perception rolls while affected. Power affects a single target by default. Cost Single Non-Targeting Sense: +3 Points Single Targeting Sense: +5 Points Non-Targeting Sense Group: +5 Points Targeting Sense Group: +10 Points Modifiers Adders Area Effect (1 Hex): +5 Points (+5 Per Radius Doubling) Change Appearance: +5 Points (Images Complexity Modifier Apply) Block Sense: +10 Points (Sense is completely blocked) Extended Effect (Instant): +3 Points Per 1d6 Phases (Flash Defense Applies) Extended Effect (Constant): 10 Points +3 Points Per 1d6 Phases (Flash Defense Applies, Effect continues after switched off for BODY Rolled in Phases) Obfuscate (Self Only): +10 Points (Perception roll to see through disguise. Sean Waters Posted January 16, 2007 Report Share Posted January 16, 2007 Re: New Mechanic: Sense Affecting Power I love it and think it ought to be adopted immediately I think there is a lot of overlap between sense affecting powers and an approach like this might well make the whole thing easier to perceive. OTOH not everyone appraciates the reductionist approach, and it does mean you can get invisibility, images, darkness and flash for a lot less than if you had to buy them indicvidually, even if you could use an EC. In fact I suppose this is a kind of specialised framework for sense powers. If so perhaps it should be treated as a framework....but that would cause problems if someone wanted a flash slot in a MP.....have to think on that one.
