Elysea
Too cheesy? Consider: A TK psionic/martial artist. Primary power being a Psionic EC containing gobs of Telekinesis, and assorted other powers like Flight, Force Wall, whatever. Would martial damage classes for his TK maneuvers be too cheesy for a purchase inside the EC? A munchkin attempt to get the EC bonus twice for the same power? Or just a legal means of enhancing his power? Akin to purching an Aid: EB in an EC with an Energy Blast in it? Or is that also rank of cheddar? How many more sentences can I end with question marks? Killer Shrike
Its not legal per se, and I wouldnt allow it personally. DCs are already quite efficient.
umbra
I think most GM's (at least mine) would veto it. Now if your character had some sort of gadget or something of the sort with the damage classes build in, you could get points back for buying it as a focus. My GM usually rules if it don't normally cost End to use, you can't put it in a power framework (so skills, talents etc are no no's). Talon
:twitch: :shudder: Cheesy, would never allow it. Buy more TK or buy the DCs outside the EC. (Aid costs no END so isn't allowed in ECs anymore, BTW.) === I do recall an old article in AC about a historical campaign (set BC) which had a PC using DC's in an EC. In a modern day game you could have an MC entertaining PCs who are fighting VC hidden in the WC. Sorry, channeled Robin Williams for a minute there. Elysea
Yeah, I knew this would go well with wine and crackers. Bored and at work though... Idle hands.
umbra
just buy it as a ring or necklace or something, make it a focus and boom, you get it at a lower cost, and I'm pretty sure that's totally legal.
