Vulnerable to your Susceptibility

CrosshairCollie

Question

An example character in another thread had the following setup:

2x Stun from Light-Based Attacks

3d6 Susceptibility to Light-Based Flashes

According to the GM, this meant that he took 6d6 STUN from his Susceptibility, because of the 'shared' Vulnerability. Is this how it's actually supposed to work?

Re: Vulnerable to your Susceptibility

No. If he were hit with a Light-based Flash, he'd take double effect from the Flash (the Vulnerability) and 3d6 from the Susceptibility.

To put it in generic terms, Vulnerability damage multipliers do not apply to damage from Susceptibilities, Dependences, or other Disadvantages involving the same power/special effect.
