Foci and Force Fields redux

I knew I forgot some part of my conundrum. What if the Force Field is in a Focus as well? on 5ER p 294 it states that "If a character has multiple Foci, all Foci are 'outside' of any defenses they don't provide."

 

So which takes precedent -- the rule under Force Fields, or the rule under Foci?

 

Also, a second question:

 

If one Focus provides Force Field (Force Field Belt: Force Field 10/10, for instance), and a second Focus provides *additional* Force Field (Force Augmenter: +5/+5 Force Field), the character would have a 15/15 Force field, but how much does the Belt and the Augmenter have?

1. The general rule (for Focus) is superceded by the more specific rule (for Force Field).

 

2. They’d both have 15/15 defense.
