Sociotard
Okay, this is inspired by Areomancy section in Fantasy Hero Grimoire II Delayed Effect (often used for potions and the like) has rules for how many instances a person can have ready at any given time (meaning he buys the advantage for how many potions he wants available at any given time) Useable by Other (used to make a power apply to many people) also has rules for how many instances of a power are available? The specific power I have in mind (for a world where magic is common, but expensive and difficult). Basically, its an elixer originally devised as an embalming fluid by some priests. To their delight, not only does it stop dead guys from rotting, it also makes sick, poisoned, or bleeding-to-death guys stop right where they are (the fluid is poured over the body, not injected). They don't heal, and the poison or disease is still there, but it won't take any effect until the embalming fluid is countered. It makes battlefield triage a snap, especially when the enemy have plague powers. The general wants 200 vials distributed to the men by dawn for the big assault. Here's what I have. Embalm both Dead and Living Extra-Dimensional Movement (To whenever somebody else makes a successful Faith roll; 40), Usable Simultaneously (up to 250 people at once; +2¼), Delayed Effect (Ego/5; +¼), (140 Active Points); Extra Time (1 Hour; −3), Gestures (throughout; −½), Incantations (throughout; −½), Requires a Faith Roll (−½), Ritual (Requires a Circle of at Least Three; −½), Concentration (½ DCV throughout casting; −½), Only When Serving the Purposes of Larkosh (−½), OAF (−1¼), Body Subject to Attacks (−1). Total Cost: 15 Points. Under this writeup, the Priest can make his Ego/5 Batches of Embalming fluid, not just bottles. Thoughts?
