Defense (Only for Sturdy Equipment)

Buying defenses, especially Power Defense, only to make an item tougher... is that a limitation on the Power Defense?

 

For example,

 

+10 Power Defense, Only to Protect Amulet (-2)

 

This power will only prevent the amulet from being harmed but will do nothing to protect the wearer or his things. Is there a standard suggested amount for the limitation? Is -2 too much?

There's nothing wrong with a Limitation like that, but it's up to the GM to set the value -- in some campaigns object damage is so rare that it'd be -4, in others so common that it'd be -1/2 at the most.
