incrdbil
Ok--a character has a power, able to temporarily phase out and hit a desolidified target. This phasing is quick--so quick they cant move through anything, and still are affected by every attack out there including for that phase any desol character out there Desolidification (40 Active Points); Does Not Protect Against Damage (-1), Cannot Pass Through Solid Objects (-1/2), Instant (-1/2), Limited Power Power loses about a fourth of its effectiveness (Can't pass through any opening they normally couldn't fit through.; -1/4) So, inspiration, or insane munchkinry? I'm torn.
Checkmate
Re: Inspiration or Insanity Without doing the math, wouldn't Effects Desolid on STR be easier/cheaper?
incrdbil
Re: Inspiration or Insanity if it was only on STR..maybe, but thats active point restriction problems. Thsi one actually makes every attack power the character have useable vs desol, while avoiding active point problems..though at the downside of opening the character up to the desol characters attacks, and a higher end cost. Comic
Re: Inspiration or Insanity It almost sort of kind of sounds like you maybe want a naked advantage for all attack powers, with a susceptibility to attacks by Desolid while using this power. And... your version might not work, if the GM is the type who compares types of Desolid and deems some not to affect others. E.G. Why should a guy who turns into water affect a ghost? Hmm, that could work--buy the naked advantage on active point base to the characters highest attack, then apply the ability to be affected as a side effect perhaps. Overlooked that option, thanks.
