I seem to recall a rule somewhere that, if you placed a Focus on a VPP power (say, a 12d6 EB, OAF staff, 30 real points) and lost the focus, you needed to retrieve the focus before you could reallocate the points (so you're down 30 real points until you get your staff back).
However, I can't find the reference. Am I delusional in this regard, or can you point me to the rule?
