I used Cramming with the sfx of Telepathy for a Shapeshifter I used to play (Deceiver) Now adays the Ulti-skill alows for cramming to go higher than (8) so that might be the "ballenced" way to go...I did the "Vulcan mind mald" thing so it was touch based and some telepathy w/o range to find out secrets like say...passwords, and where the booze is hidden... I've also thoght of, but never built a "Thought stealer" that has a Transform to Amnesiac (Partial effects possable) in addition to the above... The Ultimate Skill, p.59-60, "Reflex Memory" is very similar to your idea. Main difference is it is for physical skills/abilities. It is based on a VPP. I really think that's the best mechanic for what you want. BTW, The Ultimate Skill on p.51-52 and 59-60 discusses a number of ways to use VPP's with Skills. Just remember, you need the GM's permission to put Skills in a VPP, because they're in the "Special Powers" category. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
