Mark Rand
One thing about an IST campaign is that there are always at least 8 supers assigned to an embassy with three quarters of them on duty at any one time. Let;s refer to them as A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H. The first week, G and H are off. The next week, A and B are off. Then, C and D are off. Finally, E and F are off. After that, the cycle begins, again. In order to make this work, I have to generate NPCs. As players come in, they will be either transferred to another embassy or adopted by a player. Since I don't have HD on my computer here at work, I'll write them up at home and present them to you for comment. The first is Doctor Arcane, David Arcane, Ph.D., in psychology. The good doctor is from Boston. He's 5' 9" tall, lean, has dark hair, looks like Fred Astaire, and wears a white tie, top hat, and tails. He has a number of occult-related skills, practices generic martial arts, and has a 70-point variable power pool. His familiar, Amber, is a Western screech owl. Amber will be posted tonight. Doctor Arcane will be posted by Sunday.

Mark Rand
Re: assorted IST supers Background: Dr. Arcane was born in Boston to a wealthy family. Since they were socially-active, Jenny Morris, one of the maids, acted as his babysitter. Unknown to the family, Jenny was the daughter of a magic-using hero. Seeing David do something mystical, she notified her father, who agreed to train him. As the years passed, David proved to be a good student of both magic and the human mind. After getting his Ph.D. in psychology, he offered his services to the IST. Power/Tactics: Dr. Arcane is a skilled wizard who chooses his tactics to suit his target. Personality/Motivation: He cares for people and wants to do the good thing. Appearance: He stands 5 foot 9 inches tall, weighs 174 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes, and dresses in white tie and tails.
