I have a group called Team Gold. (The original purpose of the team was to have a pool of characters with a pre made origin.Well these characters got their powers from the Lab accidnet. problem was it was not an accident. One of the scientist had more detailed knowledge into the origins of the project (To do with schence what was once done with Alchemy) This one scientist rigged a few of the machines in the lab to bathe him in the energy, gas and selct byproducts of some of the projects. Too bad that his plans protected him from the empowering of the accident instead of giving him the powers.Well here he is. GOLD BUG. Mainly he wants to capture the members of Team Gold and find out how they got thier power and then take it from them. He has developed a suit ofpower armor so he can capture them.Questions, Comments and suggestions welcome

MrD,

Over all he's fairly decent for a low end Powered Armor Villian. What power level are the Heroes at, to know wheather or not Gold Bug is done right I'd have to know what powerlevel his opponents are at. In most cases when a villian is made to fight a group of PCs he needs more SPD, and some ability to take a coordinated attack from the heroes. So either a high Con, or a generous helping of Dam Reduction.

 

I had my heroes (all 350-400 pt chars) take out Mechanon(straight from the book) in 4 segments thanx in part to coordinated attacks, and 1 really lucky attack that hit the Stun Loto. (90 Stun) This taught me that master villians need a bit more than is given in the books. Granted Mehanon didn't get to set the battle up to win... he had just defeated the Champions, and wasn't ready for Avantguard, but no matter the situation a combinded attack from the Heroes, and he was through.
