lifo
Let's say I need to build a spell like the classical high-level Magic Missile. A spell which has a certain number of shots that can be aimed at will at every target in range. How do I build it? I used to buy Auto-fire advantage but it just doesn't seem right... Let's say, then, that every shot does area damage. How can I do that?
braincraft
Re: Multi-targeting spells Ok. Let's say, then, that every shot does area damage. How can I do that? Buy AoE twice. The easier way would just be to use Autofire or Rapid Fire.

I used Autofire, but it doesn't let you target each shot separately.
L. Marcus
Re: Multi-targeting spells It does -- but you need the Autofire Skills to be any good at it.

Variable Target? Where does that advantage come from? And a consideration about nesting AoE. Shouldn't nested AoEs be a lesser advantage than a normal one? In the end a normal AoE spread the effect on the whole area bought, instead the nested AoE spread the effect only in the inner AoE area, that should logically be less the outer AoE area. That is the advantage and justification for increased cost over just using a basic 1 size fits all AOE.
