This is kind of a follow-up question to one posted by SteveZilla. Is it legal to link a single AoE power with No Range to a single ranged, non-AoE power?
Example:
Dr. Spectrum possesses a laser that is so bright at its source that it blinds those standing near him when he fires it. This is built as a AoE Sight Sense Flash with No Range linked to an Energy Blast or Killing Attack.
The reason I wonder about the legality is the potential to hit two different targets (blasting a distant target while the linked flash blinds a nearby foe--and potentially any allies standing too close), though it isn't "targeting" two different targets.
