Susano
Weta Publishing is pleased to present it's Weta Originals / Dark Horse Comics publication: Doctor Grordbort's Contrapulatronic Dingus Directory. This Hardcover book is now shipping from our US , NZ and UK warehouses. Written and illustrated by Weta Workshop conceptual designer Greg Broadmore, the directory showcases dozens of arcane inventions, contraptions and weaponry. The stars of the show are, of course, Dr. Grordbort’s Infallible Aether Oscillators, but you will also find the shiniest new bifurnilizers, metal man servants and automated travel loungers. Also included for your entertainment and scientific education is a compartmentalised picture story (some call them comics) of the world famous naturalist, Lord Cockswain. So please click the shiny links to peruse a sampling in PDF format of the future publication (first shown in the extremely limited Comic Con 2006 Preview comic) and a select smattering of gallery images. I own a copy and it looks like a great source of ideas for any Pulp GM. While a lot of it has as sort of steampunk or Victorian SF feel, the book has enough crazy gadgets to inspire many a mad scientist or Nazi villain! Better yet, it's in full color, with quirky, tongue-in-cheek descriptions. A steal at only $12.95! http://www.amazon.com/Doctor-Grordborts-Contrapulatronic-Directory-Catalogue/dp/1593078765 http://www.wetanz.com/holics/raygun-directory.php
Narratio
Re: Doctor Grordbort's Contrapulatronic Dingus Directory Just admit it, it was the shineyness of the almost real life sized pictures that grabbed you. A plain old matt surface print would never have held your attention. So, when do the authors plan to make some for sale and profit? Nice one Mike,
