In the 5er corebook, page 285, the text says, "A character can spend no more than four charges (+4 DC/+20 Active Points) per power per Phase this way."
I've always treated this as being like Haymaker for Charges in certain ways, but I got to wondering if a player can Boost 4 Charges in one phase, then Boost for another 4 Charges in their next phase, and on and on until satisfied before they actually attack.
For example, if I have an EB 8d6, can I use 4 Charges to make that 12 DC's and then on my next Phase use another 4 Charges to make that attack 16 DC's and then attack?
